History

In 1849, the state legislature passed an act to branch out from the township of Saginaw and organize a separate Township by the name of " Buena Vista".

Today, the mission of Buena Vista Charter Township is to create an atmosphere of unity, to promote and implement effective policies, procedures and programs that will benefit all residents.
