Executive Administrative Assistant

Salary: Grade 5 to 7 Entry Level Wages: $30,839 - $35,407

Supervisor: Township Manager

Major Duties: Multi-tasked oriented with the ability to work closely with Manager and interact with departments and Board Members. Administrative duties include good written / verbal communication skills, planning and organization skills a plus, special projects and ability to meet deadlines. Responsible for township personnel records, updates to employee benefits and may include opportunity for supervision.

Qualifications: Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must have demonstrated Microsoft Suite computer skills, excellent customer service skills and solid attendance record. Ability to effectively work with staff, have good judgment and high work standards. Preferred associates degree in business or 7 years commensurate experience.

Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent

Department: Public Works

Salary: Grade 11 Entry Level Wage 41,248 - 51,009/ DOQ

Supervisor: Director of Public Works

Major Duties: Supervises operation and maintenance of Township wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with discharge parameters and meet federal and state mandated requirements. Responsible for operational records of the facility and prepares reports to the MDEQ and USEPA.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Water quality or related field preferred. Five years experience in all phases of wastewater collections systems, public works, operations and maintenance. Three years management level capacity and administrative duties. Must have Michigan Class "B" Sewage Treatment works Operator Certification. Knowledge in primary treatment, secondary treatment, sludge handling/disposal, laboratory analysis and all requirements contained therein. Must be familiar with small communities in urban/rural areas. Must be a problem solver. Knowledge of township government. Must have good written & oral communication skills.
