Regular Board Meeting
July 11, 2005

Supervisor Parker called the Board Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Township Hall.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Board of Trustees.

MEMBERS PRESENT Supervisor Parker, Clerk Montgomery, Treasurer Williams, Trustee Martin, Trustee Carter, Trustee Orange and Trustee O’Steen.

(07-11-01-05) Motioned by Carter second by Martin for the approval of the

June 27, 2005 Regular Board Meeting Minutes of the Buena Vista Charter Township Board of Trustees. Motion carried unanimously.

(07-11-02-05) Motioned by Orange second by Martin for approval to review and approve the statements for accounts payable and payroll as listed below:

General Fund $145,405.57

Sewer Fund $ 24,962.70

Water Fund $ 22,852.33

Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.

Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to accept agenda items 07-11-03-05 through 07-11-06-05 collectively. Motion carried unanimously.

(07-11-03-05) Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to receive and file the June 2005 monthly report from the Buena Vista Charter Township Community Development Department. Motion carried unanimously.

(07-11-04-05) Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to receive and file June 2005 monthly report from BVCT Fire Department. Motion carried unanimously.

(07-11-05-05) Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to receive and file the June 2005 monthly report for the Buena Vista Charter Township Parks & Recreation Department. Motion carried unanimously.

(07-11-06-05) Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to receive and file the June 2005 monthly for the Buena Vista Charter Township Police Department. Motioned carried unanimously.

Trustee Carter: Supervisor if I may, I would like to first of all direct the Board’s attention to agenda item #6 the first page labeled activity report for the month of June. The last time that I was here, I mentioned the code enforcement committee that was meeting and we laid out an aggressive agenda to start to deal with some of these problems that we are now facing within our Township. I think part of that committee was the cooperation of the Chief and his department and as you can see I want read this. We have been busy stepping up our efforts in code enforcement. Also I would like to announce that we will meet again on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and lay out or next agenda. That will be the 13^th of July.

Supervisor Parker: Just wanted to announce that there will be an executive committee meeting coming up during the month of July and I will get with the Treasurer and Clerk as relates to the date and time.

Trustee Martin: Yes, I just have a question. I think that it is about time for our Township Manager’s Annual Evaluation. It is? If it is, it is about time that the evaluation committee starts meeting and getting it together.
