BUENA VISTA CHARTER TOWNSHIP
Special Board Meeting
November 7, 2005
Supervisor Parker called the Board Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
in the Township Hall.
Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Board of Trustees.
MEMBERS PRESENT Supervisor Parker, Clerk Montgomery,
Treasurer Williams, Trustee Martin and Trustee Carter.
MEMBERS ABSENT Trustee Orange
MEMEBERS LATE Trustee O’Steen
AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS
None
AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION None
(11-07-01-05) Motioned by Montgomery second by Martin to
discuss the Township’s Curfew Ordinance. Motion carried unanimously.
(11-07-02-05) Motioned by Carter second by Martin to discuss
the 2006 Proposed Budget. Motion carried unanimously by roll call
vote.
Board of Trustees discussed the Proposed 2006 Fiscal Year Budget.
Motioned by O’Steen to slash the Board of Trustees conference,
education and training line item amount to $2500.00 instead of
$3500.00. Motion dies for lack of support.
Motioned by Carter second by O’Steen that the Board of Trustees
reviews the Proposed Departmental Budget page by page. Motion
carried unanimously.
Board of Trustees discussed the following Departments: Board of
Trustees, Manager’s, Fiscal Services, Data Processing,
Administrative Grounds Building, Cemetery, Police, Fire, Community
Development, Planning Commission, Department of Public Works,
Drains, Parks & Recreation, Non Departmental, Water and DDA.
Motioned by Parker second by Carter that the Township Manager
submits proposals and bids pertaining to the garbage entities.
Motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT: Motioned by Parker second by Montgomery to
adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
