SUPERVISOR’S REPORT
Supervisor Parker: Just a couple of things. I passed out a
handout earlier that I just received on today and also you have
before you a copy of the National Association of Towns and
Townships Conference information. Good reading and good
information as related to the conference as well. That’s all I
have at this juncture.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Trustee Martin: I just have one thing. This is directed to
you Township Manager. If the Director of the Community Center
was here, I would have addressed it to him. I would like to know
the Parks & Recreation report a very comprehensive but however,
I would like to know, would it be possible to reflect how many
people use the exercise room and in addition to that can we get
an update on the equipment and also how many rentals for the
month if any. I think that we need to have a report on that
also. Now one of the reasons why I’m throwing that out, because
I am hearing a lot of things in the community and folks is
talking about the equipment breaking down and not being fixed
and repaired. Nobody knows what’s happening and also, I think
that the use of the exercising room is one of the largest events
over there at the Community Center and a lot of people use that
and we need to know how many.
MANAGER’S REPORT
Mr. Williams: I have just one: Take a Love One for a Check up
Day is next Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until
3:00 p.m. It will be held at the Community Center. There will be
screening for blood pressure, vision, diabetes, HIV, Lead
Testing and many more. We have 30 vendors and this will be the
largest vendor turn out and it will be in partnership with HOT
107.1 FM.
ADJOURNMENT: Motioned by Martin second by Carter to
adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED BY
BARBARA MONTGOMERY, TOWNSHIP CLERK
DULY ATTESTED BY
DWAYNE PARKER, TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR
