Supervisor Parker called the Board Meeting to order at 7:30
p.m. in the Township Hall.
Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Board of Trustees.

Carter, Trustee Orange and Trustee Ritter
MEMBERS ABSENT None
Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to open the Public
Hearing at 7:00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.

September 25, 2006 Regular Board Meeting Minutes of the Buena
Vista Charter Township Board of Trustees. Motion carried
unanimously.

approval to review and approve the statements for accounts
payable and payroll as listed below:
General Fund $159,859.23
Sewer Fund $ 17,385.27
Water Fund $ 14,039.57
Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
(10-09-03-06) Motioned by Martin second by Orange to hold
a public hearing to approve an Industrial Facilities Exemption
Certificate for Duperon Corporation, whose common location is
3973 Washington Road, which will be held at 7:00-7:30 p.m. at
Buena Vista Charter Township Offices, 1160 S. Outer Drive,
Saginaw, MI 48601. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.

hold a public hearing to approve an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for MKR Fabricators, Inc., whose common
location is 1600 Terminal Drive, which will be held at 7:00-7:30
p.m. at Buena Vista Charter Township Offices, 1160 S. Outer
Drive, Saginaw, MI 48601. Motion carried unanimously by roll
call vote.

hold a public hearing to approve an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for InCal Technologies, Inc., whose common
location is 3870 E. Washington Rd., which will be held at
7:00-7:30 p.m. at Buena Vista Charter Township Offices, 1160 S.
Outer Drive, Saginaw, MI 48601. Motion carried unanimously by
roll call vote.
(10-09-06-06) Motioned by Montgomery second by Martin to
hold a public hearing to approve an Industrial Facilities
Exemption Certificate for MIRCON Precision Machining, Inc.,
whose common location is 3860 E. Washington Rd., which will be
held at 7:00-7:30 p.m. at Buena Vista Charter Township Offices,
1160 S. Outer Drive, Saginaw, MI 48601. Motion carried
unanimously by roll call vote.

a public hearing to approve an Industrial Facilities Exemption
Certificate for General Machine Services, Inc., whose common
location is 494 E. Morley Drive, which will be held at 7:00-7:30
p.m. at Buena Vista Charter Township Offices, 1160 S. Outer
Drive, Saginaw, MI 48601. Motion carried unanimously by roll
call vote.

approve the resolution honoring Rev. Ernest Bothuel as the 19th
recipient of Buena Vista Charter Township’s "80th"
Milestone Award. Motion carried unanimously.
(10-09-09-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
approve the resolution honoring Mary Tyra as the 20th
recipient of the Buena Vista Charter Township’s "80th"
Milestone Award. Motion carried unanimously.
Motioned by Carter second by Martin to move agenda item
10-09-10-06 to the end of the agenda. Motion carried
unanimously.
Motioned by Martin second by Williams to accept agenda items
10-09-11-06 through 10-09-16-06 collectively. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-11-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file the September 2006 Monthly Report for the Buena
Vista Charter Township Fire Department. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-12-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file the September 2006 Monthly Report for the Buena
Vista Charter Township Police Department. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-13-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file the monthly report for the Parks and Recreation
Department for September 2006. Motioned carried unanimously.
(10-09-14-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file the September 2006 monthly reports for the
Public Works, Sewer and Water Maintenance Departments. Motion
carried unanimously.
(10-09-15-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith Township Law
Newsletter, Freedom of Information Act update. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-16-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
receive and file First Ward Community Center, Old Times Club
presents a Diamond Jubilee Ceremonial Banquet Sunday, October
22, 2006, 5:30 p.m. at the Horizons Conference Center. Motion
carried unanimously.
Motioned by Parker second by Martin to add agenda items
10-09-17-06 and 10-09-18-06 to the agenda. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-17-06) Motioned by Martin second by Orange to
approve the Supervisors appointment of Mr. Lavel Moore to fill
the vacant seat on the Planning Commission. Motion carried
unanimously.
(10-09-18-06) Motioned by Martin second by Williams to
approve the Supervisors appointment of Mr. William L. Bradley to
fill the vacant seat on the Citizens District Council. Motion
carried unanimously.
(10-09-10-06) Motioned by Carter second by Martin to
discuss the 2007 Proposed Budget Presentation. Motion carried
unanimously.
The Board of Trustees discussed the 2007 Proposed Budget.
SUPERVISOR’S REPORT
Supervisor Parker: I just have one announcement and I think
that you may have already gotten it. This is the Volunteers for
America of Michigan Ground Breaking ceremony. It is just to
highlight our ground breaking for our New Senior Citizens
Apartments complex which will be coming up on 4516 Hess.
Everyone needs to be there.
CLERK’S REPORT
Clerk Montgomery: The Election is coming up real fast and
things are coming out real slow and it’s not our fault. The
County did not give us our ballot and prom packs so for the
residents who did absentee ballot applications you would have
had them by now if it wasn’t for the County. We have everything
now and we will be getting them out as soon as possible.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Treasurer Williams: I just wanted to give you the most recent
tax report (inaudible).
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Trustee Martin: I just want to say one thing. That is I
thought that is was a beautiful meeting tonight and ask everyone
to keep on keeping on. Special kudos to Buena Vista
Administration.
MANAGER’S REPORT
Mr. Williams: I just want have one. The First Ward is
celebrating its Old Timers Club is having a banquet at the
Horizon’s Conference Center, October 22, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $55.00 and if you wanted to support, please feel
free to come see me.
ADJOURNMENT: Motioned by Martin second by Montgomery to
adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
