SUPERVISOR’S REPORT
Supervisor Parker: Just a couple of things. We do have a
couple or I would say three vacancies I believe. One for Parks &
Recreation and two for our Planning Commission. Any residents
interested in being a part of or serving on any commission or
committee that is governed by the Township may do so by
applying. You need to pick up an application from the Clerk’s
Department anytime during the day and bring back to the Township
Manager. What the procedure of the Township is that the
Supervisor appoints with the approval of the Board that person
who would serve on that particular committee. Again we have two
vacancies for the Planning Committee and one for Parks &
Recreation. So if anyone who is interested who is a resident of
Buena Vista Charter Township can pick up that application at the
Clerk’s Office.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES REPORT
Trustee Orange: Again I would like to congratulate Fire Chief
Lynch and our new Police Officers. Welcome Aboard!
Trustee Martin: I don’t know how to say this without sounding
redundant; however, I have to say it anyway. First of all, I
would like to commend Chief Booker and the Buena Vista Police
Department on a job well done. I think that you know what I am
talking about and at the same time I would like to commend Chief
Lynch for the continued success of the Buena Vista Fire
Department and I want you both to know that we are very proud of
our Public Safety Entities. Also number two for you Chief
Booker. It is good to see your comprehensive report dealing with
Code Enforcement Statistics. I think that is very comprehensible
and when we initiated a drive to be more forceful with our Code
Enforcement Program, I think that we should report to the people
just what we are doing. Thank you very much and God Bless you.
MANAGER’S REPORT
Mr. Williams: I just wanted to ask the Board to check your
calendars for March 30th and 31st for the Annual Board
Advancement Leadership. Again that will be March 30th at 6pm and
on March 31st at 8 am with breakfast. Also, for the Honoree we
have some light refreshments for you so please stick around and
take lots of pictures.
OLD BUSINESS
Supervisor Parker: When you begin to network, just make sure
that you that you wish a Happy Birthday to our Township Manager.
He is celebrating his birthday today. He wanted to get away from
that as well. Happy Birthday, Township Manager
ADJOURNMENT: Motioned by Martin second by Orange to adjourn
the meeting at 7:35 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED BY
BARBARA MONTGOMERY, TOWNSHIP CLERK
