MEETING MINUTES
February 15, 2006

The Buena Vista Charter Township Downtown Development Authority meeting was called to order by Chairman James Graham at 12:15 p.m.

AGENDA ADDITIONS: Payment reciept for A. Bailey gift card

Chairman James Graham recommends that the Downtown Development Authority would change the agenda due to leaving the meeting. The Downtown Development Authority will do a roll call, approve the minutes and then bring election of officers up to the next item and Judy Johnson would take over the remaining agenda items and go through all of the presentations

Motion made by Judy Johnson supported by Steven Copeland to move unfinished business up to the next agenda item. Motion carried.

Motion made by Steven Copeland supported by Mary Mosley to reappoint the current officers for Downtown Development Authority as follows: James Graham, Chairman, David Van Ootegham, Co-Chair and Judy Johnson, Secretary. Motion carried by roll call vote with members, James Graham, Judy Johnson, Earl Pegues, Mary Mosley and Steve Copeland voting yes.

Motion made by Mary Mosley supported by Steve Copeland to approve the Buena Vista Charter Township Downtown Development Authority Meeting Minutes of January 18, 2006. Motion carried.

Sarah Traxler, McKenna Associates, Inc. gave a brief overview of the Redevelopment plan for the Downtown Development Authority.

Brian D. Booker, Chief of Police for Buena Vista Charter Township gave a brief overview of the Police Department, the 2006 Millage and requesting financial support from Downtown Development Authority.

Tracy Cormier, Fiscal Services Director gave a brief synopsis regarding financial update for January 2006.

Motion made by Steve Copeland supported by Mary Mosley to receive and file the Financial Update for the month of January 2006 submitted by Fiscal Services Director. Motion carried.

Next Meeting will be March 15, 2006

Motion by Steve Copeland supported by Mary Mosley to adjourn meeting at 1:05 p.m.
