Planning Commission Special Meeting Minutes
December 8, 2005

Chairman Jack Deisig called the Buena Vista Charter Township Planning Commission meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

Commissioners: Jack Deisig, Chairman, Becky Petty, Gilbert Ritter, Selma Reinbold, Leah O’ Daniels, Tommie Orange, Jr., and Preston Johnson.

Commissioner(s) Absent: Earon Robinson

Staff Present:

Eloise L. Carter, Community Development Director

Martin V. Williams, Township Manager

Catherine Hicks, Deputy Clerk

Others Present: Robert Carigan, John Abraham, Brian Westoby, and Cleveland O’Steen – Zoning Board of Appeals

Amy Chestnut, McKenna Associates, Inc.

Sarah Traxler, McKenna Associates, Inc.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Leah O’Daniels.

Presentation: Amy Chestnut, Senior Principal Planner and Sarah Traxler, Assistant Planner, McKenna Associates Incorporated, regarding the Comprehensive Development Plan Amendment.

Public Hearing/Site Plan Review: None

Items for Consideration:

Motion by Commissioner Gilbert Ritter supported by Commissioner Preston Johnson, to approve the minutes for regular meeting November 7, 2005. Motion carried.

Commissioner Reports: Mr. Earon Robinson is in Covenant Cooper Hospital

Communications: Catherine Hicks will be assisting the Planning and Zoning Commission beginning in January 2006.

Adjournment: Motioned by Commissioner Preston Johnson supported by Commissioner Leah O’Daniels to adjourn meeting at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried.
