How to Become a Paid-On-Call Firefighter:

• Contact the Fire Chief at (989) 755-4756
  for an interview appointment
• Obtain an application from the Fire Department
• Return completed application
• Back ground check is conducted
• Pre-employment physical and agility test is conducted

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Excellent driving record
• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Zero felony convictions
