Overview
History/Mission Statement The Buena Vista Department of Public
Works and Utilities consists of the Public Works Department (DPW), the Water Department and the Wastewater Treatment
(Sewer) Department. These departments were formerly separate, but were combined under one director to enable the
coordination of the activities of each unit to make the best use of staff and provide the best service to the community.
The director works with the manage, board and other departmental heads to develop appropriate infrastructure plans
for proposed developments and maintenance of existing facilities and services Buena Vista Township.
